Wearable Baby Blankets

I've been making a few of these wearable baby blankets for Peewee-pint and a few for baby gifts. These are super cute, and easy to make. It's been a lot of fun...I made the patterns from a few I already had, and enlarged one pattern to fit Peewee-pint now (and big enough to grow into). I also made the giraffe applique-also pretty easy to make-just a free-hand drawing.

I used a great tutorial from Make It and Love It. Her easy directions are awesome!

Cupcakes

I followed Cara's lead when I needed some awesome cupcakes for a baby shower this week. I probably called her half a dozen times before I was finished...THANK YOU, Cara!!!

The cupcakes were a hit at the party! (I really like how the chocolate ones turned out!)

Drake's Construction Birthday Cake

I got this idea from a blog off of Pinterest. It was the perfect one for me to try and make because you could be a bit messy, and not too precise. I think the home-made cake tasted a lot better than boxed cake.
