A couple of us are taking piano lessons, and we needed a bag or two to haul our piano books back and forth from the lessons...so I decided to whip them out.
I had help from the littlest kiddo to pick out the pirate fabric, but the biggest kiddo wanted flames, so since the bag is for him, we decided to make it reversible. My bag is not, but I used the same basic technique, and added a double hanging / zippered pocket for my keys, phone, etc. Both bags have boxed out corners, and the flaming pirate bag has matching pockets on both the outside and inside.
MADE has a few good tutorials for making tote type bags, check them out here.

We're just trying to keep in touch- using technology to span the distance of hundreds of miles that separate us. Sisters C- we're best friends and each other's biggest fans and support.

Baby Infant Car Seat Cover
I made a car seat cover for a new mom in my ward. We celebrated with a baby shower a few months ago...I just loved this fabric! I used jumbo ric-rac for the binding.

Mom's Christmas Quilt
I couldn't publish this picture before Christmas because I didn't want Mom to see it. I ran across the picture yesterday on my computer and remembered I wanted to show it off. So ...Dah daa!
I told Mom all the hearts represent how much we love her.

A pencil bag for Caylee
We bought Caylee a pencil bag at Target but it was too small for her needs so we made a new one. It was a fun little project.
